Effective date: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Channora iOS app ("Channora", "the app", "we", "us") accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored. Channora is a tool for reviewing your own YouTube subscriptions and watch history — it does not run its own backend server and does not sell or share your data with anyone.
Channora accesses the following information, only after you explicitly sign in and grant permission:
All of the information above is used for one purpose: to analyze, locally on your device, which of your subscriptions you have stopped watching, so Channora can help you decide what to unsubscribe from. Channora does not use your data for advertising, does not build user profiles, and does not share it with data brokers or analytics companies.
Channora has no backend server. Your subscriptions, watch history, and analysis results are stored locally on your device (in the app's sandboxed storage). Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. Nothing described in this policy is uploaded to servers operated by us, because we do not operate any.
Channora communicates directly with Google's own APIs (Google Sign-In, the YouTube Data API, and the Google Data Portability API) to retrieve the information described above. Your use of these Google services is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. Channora does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Channora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
